In this teaching, we look carefully from Esther, Chapters 3 and 4. Haman was an "Agagite" or an Amalekite, so he was a long time enemy of the Jews. Because Mordecai refused to bow down or pay him homage, Haman planned not only to kill Mordecai for all the Jews in the entire Persian Empire. It was a diabolical scheme. The deadly decree drove Mordecai, Esther, and all the Jews to their knees in prayer and fasting. We once again show the providence of God as He intervenes in the smallest details of people's lives.
