Habakkuk 04 - Woe to the Wicked God Avenges - Audio

This is a verse by verse audio teaching of Habakkuk 2:12-20. There are three more woes to cover in this section along with two famous verses about God's glory and God's temple (2:14 and 2:20). God opposes any city built on wickedness and violence. The Babylonians built their empire on the backs of slaves and plundered the nations to obtain their wealth, but it will be all for not because God's world will not be filled with violence, but filled with His glory. Verse 14 is a prophecy that will be fulfilled with Jesus comes in glory and power at His 2nd Coming. The Lord condemns the drunkenness of the Babylonians and their glory will be turned to shame, utter shame. The violence they did against Lebanon will be returned on their own head. Their idolatry is mute, dumb, lifeless, and useless. God is in His heavenly temple, let all the earth (not just Babylon) be silent before Him.
