This is a verse by verse audio teaching of Romans 7:1-12. In Romans 6, we die to sin, but in Romans 7, we die to the law. Without understanding our death to the law, we will never have the victory over sin because we must understand that we are not "under law but under grace." Paul begins with an illustration from marriage that a woman is only released from the law of marriage by the death of her husband. We died to the law so that we might be married to Christ - who rose from the dead - so we can bear fruit unto God. Paul then shows in 7:5 and 7:7-13 how sin uses something good - the law and the 10th Commandment - to take advantage of us and kill us.
