This is a verse by verse audio teaching of Romans 8:14-27. Paul continues his powerful teaching on the Holy Spirit. He reveals that we have been "adopted" and now we are "sons of God" and therefore, "children of God." If we are His children, then we are "heirs of God" and "joint heirs with Christ." Our inheritance is the eternal glory of God. We will dwell in His presence forever and ever. But to inherit glory involves "sufferings." The "whole creation" (mentioned 4 times in 4 consecutive verses) is "eagerly waiting" for the manifestation or revelation of the sons of God so that it can be delivered from its "bondage to corruption." All Christian believers are groaning and eagerly waiting for their ultimate adoption, "the redemption of our bodies." We are longing for the glorified, immortal, imperishable body like Jesus' body.
