Around 98% of Christian believers do not share their faith with non-believers. Pastor Charlie contends that one of the main reasons for this is not because of a fear of rejection or not knowing what to say, but because we are ashamed of Jesus Christ. That is a painful conclusion. The apostle Paul told Timothy not to be ashamed of Jesus or him, but join in suffering with him by God's power. We are either going to open our mouth and suffer or we will remain silent and live in shame. Using verses from Paul and Jesus, he deals with the shame issue. We do not want Jesus to be ashamed of us. We must love the praises of God more than the praises of man.
