Evangelism 08 - God Wants All Men To Be Saved - Audio

Having just returned from a missions trip to the nation of Jamaica, Pastor Charlie shares this important teaching on personal evangelism. Using the important verses from 1 Timothy 2:1-7, we learn that God wants Christians to pray for "ALL MEN," because God "desires ALL MEN to be saved," because Jesus Christ gave Himself as "a ransom for ALL MEN." The critical first step to evangelism is prayer. People get witnessed to, and convicted by the Spirit, and soften their hearts toward the gospel when we pray for them. Stories are told of how people came to salvation to the prayers of loved ones. Second, we learn that it is God's will (His desire, His passion), that all men get saved. Not everyone will be saved, but God wants all men to receive His Son Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Jesus was given as a ransom for all men. He paid the ransom price to buy us back from sin, evil, darkness, and the devil. The writer of 1 Timothy, the apostle Paul, is the great example of how God wants every man to experience salvation. If Saul of Tarsus can be saved, then God wants everyone to be saved.
