Word of God 04 - The New Covenant - Video
The new covenant is first clearly revealed in those remarkable verses of Jeremiah 31:31-34. It is a revelation of what God was going to do after the Israelites had failed the Lord over and over again. It would be a covenant in blood, where God would write His laws in their hearts and minds, where He would be their God and they could know Him personally, and where the Lord would forgive and not remember their sins anymore. This passage from Jeremiah is repeated in its entirety in Hebrews 8 and partly in Hebrews 10. It established the proof that the old covenant from Mt Sinai was now obsolete and vanishing away.
