Teacher of the Bible

This is the verse by verse video teaching of the Song of Songs 8:1-14. Pastor Charlie begins with a 20 minute discussion on the subject of an "unloved woman" that the Bible talks about. So much devastation happens in homes because men (husbands and fathers) will not love their wives and children like the Bible says – certainly not like the Song says about husbands loving their wives. The long-term effects of this lack of love are destructive. In this last chapter of the Song, we see the woman once again expressing her passion and longing to be with her man. In verses 6-7, we have some of the most powerful statements on love in the entire Bible. This last chapter teaches many things, but especially that love is not for sale. Love cannot be bought; it must be freely given. A woman's body and love belong to her, and she wants to freely give it to her husband, but she will only do so if she knows that the husband loves her alone. He desires her and she knows it.
