Jude 01 - Contending for the Faith - Video

This is a verse-by-verse video teaching of Jude 1-4. In this study we learn that Jude (Judas in Greek) is the half-brother of Jesus and the brother of James (author of the biblical book). He calls himself, not Jesus' brother, but Jesus' slave. We also see why being kept or protected by Jesus Christ is going to be so important in these last days of apostasy and backsliding. We need an abundance of God's mercy, peace and love to survive these perilous days. The key verse of the Book of Jude is verse 3. Christians must earnestly contend for the faith. We must stand up and fight the good fight of faith. This fight is necessary because many apostates and false teachers have arisen and secretly entered the church to deceive believers. But these false and ungodly men are exposed by Jude. They are men who turn the grace of God into a license for sexual immorality - like many ministers today. We look at the homosexual bishop and former Pastor Jim Swilley, from the now defunct megachurch, "Church in the Now," and learn lessons about what present-day deceivers will do and say in the churches.
